Hi, I’m James. I have lived in Kamloops for almost a decade, and my son has spent his entire elementary school journey in the Kamloops-Thompson school system.

I am running because I believe our Board would benefit from a fresh perspective and a strong parent voice at the table. As a parent myself, and having been raised by teachers, I understand both the importance of public education and the realities facing families and educators today.

I am prepared to ask difficult questions, listen carefully to diverse viewpoints, and work collaboratively to support positive outcomes for students and our community. I also bring strong financial literacy and experience reviewing financial statements and budgets, which I believe is essential when making decisions that impact classrooms and student learning.
